dolly wrote this in 1973 and sang it and it was relased as a single in 1974, and then whitney sang it in 1992, but ppl liked her singing version better... but in my opinion dolly sang it better expecially in this movie the best little whorehouse in texas

U seem to have a problem with basic logic, and punctuations, too bad I have no desire to help with either. I know Whitney has not written any songs but at the end of the day she will b remembered for sweeping the world off its feet with that angelic voice. I am grateful that Dolly allowed Whitney to sing that song, because we wouldn't have known the true potential of that song at all.
